Replay - Airway Management of the Complex Patient

Undergoing a deep sedation procedure places a variety of complex patients at risk for upper airway obstruction, and may cause hypoventilation, hypoxemia, and other pulmonary complications. Nasal positive airway pressure (nPAP) has been shown to be an effective means of relieving upper airway obstruction, and reducing the incidence of acute respiratory failure.
