Cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) is a test performed to determine an overview of the person’s cardiopulmonary, circulatory and metabolic health as a response to physical work load by measuring metabolic gas exchange alongside a number of other physiological parameters such as blood pressure, heart rate, etc. In the clinical world, it is used as a diagnostic tool to identify the possible physiological limitation in both children and adult patient groups leading to a specific disease or disability, be it pulmonary, cardiac, peripheral, metabolic, or other limitations. During this webinar, our speakers will review and share their experience with the CPET to identify most important clinical factors to assist with diagnosis, therapy and prognosis of various pulmonary and cardiac diseases.

The training was very informative and relevant especially for when dealing with patients with comorbidity and dysfunctional pattern breathing. The worked examples were great. I would like to have seen more about non-invasive CPET using the other possible techniques like OEUS score, NEP loops, DL. Much appreciate the shared knowledge and experience on Drs Lewis and Silverman.
