Non-invasive ventilation in the hospital care setting.

Continuum of care drives prioritizing patients and embracing non-invasive ventilation (NIV) in the acute care setting to avoid intubation or serve as an alternative to mechanical ventilation. NIV has increasingly become the standard of care across a variety of pathologies in the pediatric and adult population.

The early intervention of effective NIV therapy has been shown to reduce hospital length of stay and mortality for treatment of acute respiratory failure.

There is an increased need for devices that can provide NIV, invasive and high flow oxygen therapy to manage a wide range of patients throughout the care settings.
