Since the 1994 decree, the post-intervention monitoring room has been an obligatory passage for patients undergoing surgery. The development of outpatient care or loco-regional anaesthesia is gradually changing the profile of patients in the Post-Intervention Monitoring Room. Furthermore, mini-invasive or robotic surgery and interventional radiology are transforming the traditional postoperative. In these conditions, teams must adapt and must know how to react to new risk situations or situations that have become rarer.
