Acute heart failure is a serious pathology, with a short term vital prognosis. The most common form is acute pulmonary oedema, the most severe cardiogenic shock. The quality of management depends on the speed of diagnosis, the correct assessment of the severity criteria and the rapid use of appropriate structures.
