Course details

Benefit from a 10% discount by booking before April 15th, 2008 using the code 'asval10'.

This program aim is to share the expertise of Drs Chastanet & Pittaluga on the ASVAL technique and on the general management of the patient spending 2 full days in the operating room and in the consultation room in order to see :

- The strategy of a careful preservation of the saphenous vein (main superficial leg vein) by only withdrawing the collateral veins, unlike the traditional surgical method stripping. Several publications show that after applying the ASVAL method, the saphenous vein undergoes full recovery in most cases.

- A new elegant microsurgical technique for phlebectomies performed under local anesthesia, with a very short hospital stay, patients leave the clinic one hour after the operation. Post-operative recovery is remarkable: no disability, little to no bruising or pain, no dressings or nursing care, excellent aesthetic results and above all, return to sport and daily activities immediately.

The ASVAL method was created in 2003 by Drs Pittaluga and Chastanet and is now registered with the National Intellectual Property Institute (INPI).
