Course details

A 4- to 5-day course about the robot-assisted prostatectomy procedure for robot-naive surgeons & surgeons with basic knowledge of the da Vinci system. The program is for Arabic-speaking urologists who want to start performing robotic procedures and are looking for a intensive hands-on course.

Educational methods

Live case observation, Hands-on, Cadaver

Advantages of the procedure

The robot-assisted prostatectomy has already proven its advantages over the conventional technique and is a good procedure to get first hands-on experience in robotic surgery.

Who is this course for?

This course is for Arabic-speaking urologists.

  • Robot-naive surgeons start with an extra day of buttonology & technology training on Monday. (€6500)
  • Robotic beginners (who already have basic knowledge of the system) can join from Tuesday on. (€5500)

Participants need to have the required surgical & anatomical knowledge of performing prostatectomies. Robotic experience is not required.

Dr. Roland S. The course was great and very helpful for getting started with robotic surgery. Only one minor issue was that we were asked to finish the course one day at 4:30pm, although it was scheduled until 5pm. At our stage of training, we were eager to get each second for practicing. Given the decent registration fee, it should not happen that we are asked to finish early.

Dr. Ricardo C. This Course was really a success regarding one to one teaching and the Orsi Center is really fantastic place to learn everything about robotic surgery
