Course details

The 3 day OPEN RHINOPLASTY MASTERCLASS will be a comprehensive training where the experts Jean-Brice Duron, MD, Emmanuel Racy, MD & special expert Gilbert Aïach, MD will demonstrate and explain their techniques of rhinoplasty .

The workshop takes place in the largest cosmetic establisment in Europe, the Clinique des Champs Elysées. The Clinic has been welcoming both french and international patients for over 60 years in their well-equipped establisment which offers procedures in cosmetic surgery, aesthetic medicine, laser hair removal, hair surgery and cosmetic dentistry. It has become a benchmark for the most prestigious doctors that give their patients the sought after, refined touch that is glamourous, discreet, and natural.

-------------------------------------- Special Guests --------------------------------------

DR. GILBERT AIACH specializes in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery and in cranio-facial surgery. He is a founding member of the Rhinoplasty Society, professor in ISAPS, and a member of SOFCPRE, de la Société de Chirurgie Maxillo-Faciale, and American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Aiach is a world-renowned leader in primary rhinoplasty as well as secondary rhinoplasty and is recongnized by his peers as an expert in nose surgery and the best nose surgeon in all of France. He has performed several thousands of rhinoplasty procedures in his more than 30 years of experience. His main objective each time he performs his procedure is to obtain a "natural and harmonious nose that fits with the face and personality of the patient".

DR. JEAN-BRICE DURON graduated in plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He has specialized in cosmetic as well as reconstructive surgery of the face and nose in the ENT department of Professor Jean-Paul Monteil in Paris. For the past 6 years, he has shared his activity between private cosmetic surgery in association with Doctor Gilbert Aiach and reconstructive surgery in Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris where he mostly performed nose and face reconstructions.

DR. EMMANUEL RACY has over 20 years of surgical experience and since 2011, he has been developing the use of powered tools in rhinoplasty. With over 50 studies authored or co-authored in his field of study, Dr Racy offers an invaluable insight into the application of modern technology in Head and Neck Surgery. He is an active member of the Rhinoplasty Society in addition to being Founder and President of Benin-based NGO, ONG Benin DEVELOP.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Day 1: of the workshop you will learn the anatomy and anatomical variations of the area, along with the instruments used for the techniques. You will also see the best options for preparations of the procedure and the pre-op planning. Open and closed rhinoplasty exposure will be discussed as well as the post-op for improving the results of your surgery.

Day 2: will give you the chance of true hands-on practice. You

will partake in a cadaver lab where you execute techniques and exercise through

repetition, on fresh cadavers, at the Ecole de Chirugie du Fer à Moulin.

Day 3: you will observe live procedures performed by the

Masters. You will experience up-close and personally how the techniques are

done followed by a debriefing and the ability to ask thorough questions.
