Prof. Jacques Marescaux, MD, PHD

Overview

Pr. Jacques Marescaux is Professor of Surgery, Chairman of the Institute of Image-Guided Surgery (IHU Strasbourg, France) and President and Founder of IRCAD (1994). In 2001, Pr. Marescaux performed the first transcontinental laparoscopic surgery. Together with his team, he has published over 4,000 articles and communications. In addition, Pr. Marescaux has delivered more than 400 speeches in Universities and Schools of Medicine around the world.
