Dr. Emmanuel Delay

Head of the plastic and reconstructive surgery department of the Leon Berard Center since 199, Dr. Delay is the initiator of the breast lipomodelling technique, developed in 1998.  

Surgeon Specialist in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery since 1991, He is the author of 200 publications including scientific articles, books or book chapters, and co-author of the French Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SOFCPRE) devoted to breast implants. He lectures regularly at national and international congresses.

Dr. Delay divides his time between Reconstructive Surgery at the hospital (Centre Léon Bérard, Lyon), Education (University of Lyon), Research (Stem cells Research) and his professional activity (Clinique Charcot) mostly dedicated to Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Delay is the President of the SOFCPRE (Société Française de Chirurgie Plastique Reconstructrice et Esthétique; French Society of Plastic, Esthetic and Reconstructive surgery), which is the main society for plastic surgeons in France.
