Orsi Academy offers an Advanced 2-Day Course in Robot-Assisted Lower Urinary Tract Reconstruction for urologists with previous experience on the da Vinci robot and familiarity with lower urinary tract reconstruction.
Proctored by top-experts Prof. Dr. Véronique Phé and Dr. Benoit Peyronnet.
This 2-day masterclass consists of hands-on training on human cadaver tissue and live animal tissue at Orsi Academy.

• Port placement and docking
• Different techniques: Sling removal (TOT, TVT with vs without urinary tract extrusion)
• Colposuspension
• POP repair (mesh sacrocolpopexy, autologous sacrocolpopexy, uterosacral ligaments plication,…)

Hands-on session on anesthetized porcine model
• Anatomical dissection to create space (simulation vesicovaginal space and retrovaginal space) for mesh implant (separation rectum, bladder)
• Mesh selection and tailored extracorporeally
• Mesh fixation on the anterior vaginal wall
• Mesh fixation on the posterior vaginal wall
• Sacrospinous mesh fixation
• Closing the peritoneum
