Orsi Academy offers a 2-Day Course in Basic Skills Robotic General Surgery, proctored by Dr. Paulo Roquete.

  

This 2-day masterclass consists of



  • 1 day of basic robotic training including set-up procedure, system overview, simulator exercices and dry-lab training 
  • 1 day of improving robotic skills via wet-lab training on porcine model.


This is a customised program so topics and level can be discussed in advance with the expert, depending on your needs.

Please note that it is mandatory to register on the e-learning platform (www.innovativesurgeryonline.com) and to complete the participant profile prior to the course. Any pre-course material on the platform needs to be consulted before starting the course. Lab access shall be refused to people without a registered account.

Once registered, please fill in the Participant Profile Form, which can be found under the section 'Tests & Evaluations'.

Once we recieved both filled in forms, your personal certificate will be uploaded to your profile shortly. 

The certificate can be retrieved by looking yourself up using the Search User tool, than click More Info and find your certificate. 


After completion, participants receive a Orsi Academy certificate & CME credits.

This Basic Skills in Robotic General Surgery aim to provide:

- the instructions on how to use the Robot in particular for interventions on the GI,

hepatobiliary, colon-rectal system, and hernia repair.

- the instructions on the port placement and docking process are provided for

different “da Vinci” platforms.

- hands-on session with preparatory activities for the execution of interventions in the

gastrointestinal field with the robotic technique.
