Minimize IMF Disruption and Don't forget IMF Fixation

On an inframammary approach, avoid any major disruptions of the suspension ligaments. If required, lowering the IMF is best done conservatively and appropriately fixed. Make sure the Scarpa’s fascia is secured to the deep layers; this prevents the inferior migration of the implant by incorporating various techniques (shown in the video gallery) into the wound.

Proper patient assessment, counseling on implant volume, mitigate the need to lower the IMF.
