This on-demand course will provide an intensive, topics-based review of basic science topics pertinent to the clinical practice of veterinary oncology. The diverse and daily expanding field of specialized oncology diagnostics available for dogs and cats makes remaining current on the latest advances challenging. Keeping up-to-date on the latest data is important for presenting case management options to clients along with realistic expectations.

In this on-demand course, panelists will discuss the available data (or, sometimes, lack thereof) for the somewhat more controversial aspects of veterinary oncology diagnostics, including personalized medicine, chemosensitivity assays, liquid biopsy possibilities, and diagnostic/prognostic panels. The potential opportunities and challenges of clinical integration of these diagnostics will also be discussed.

Live and virtual course from october 2022 to september 2023
