Professor Olivier Traxer offers insights into the cutting edge of endourology with updates on the current state of the art for Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS) and demostrations of his planning and techniques in the operating room. The specialist unit at Tenon is also highly experienced in the endoscopic management of upper tract urothelial tumours and when available these patiets will be part of the course.
Prof Traxer is a pioneer in the holisitc management of the stone forming patient and will also discuss the medical management of metabolic stone disease.

This course is for experienced endourologists, who personally perform retrograde intrarenal surgery (FURS)

Put into practice strategies to avoid and manage complications of surgery
Approach the patient with urinary stone disease in a holistic manner
Plan operative strategies based on the patients pathology and imaging investigations
Pro-actively plan entry, retrieval or urolithiasis and exit and drainage strategies
Understand how a range of endourological technologies can be used in different patient settings
